[Castiel's been using text for the few and far between comments he's made to the network since the event started, but he simply doesn't care to continue doing so. He looks even more disheveled than usual, but his expression is almost eerily blank in contrast; for those that know him well enough to tell, it's not his usual neutral countenance, or even the way he normally looks when he's upset. His eyes are hollow and he's clearly not doing well in regards to the event, but his voice is steady and as unsettlingly detached as his expression.]

There must be someone with the capability to negate the need for sleep. Whoever can do this, whatever your terms for doing so are, they are acceptable.

[He either doesn't notice or doesn't care how desperate the words sound, and his tone never changes. He doesn't even know if 'awake' is the right term; he might be hallucinating now, and when he's in his world he's 'awake'. He can't tell. As it is, he's either already insane or he becomes so in the future, and even if the city is real, maybe he's already gone over the edge here too.

But he won't know--or at least it won't become a nonissue--until Sunday, if it is an event, and if it stops then. And until then, he can't deal with the dreams, or the visions, or the hallucinations or whatever they are that happen whenever he falls asleep. He will find a way to stay awake, whatever it takes.]

[A slight smirk.] I'm the one who should ask that, really. ...You do look slightly better.

I'm... Yeah. [She sighs lying back down on her bed.] Trying to find a way to keep a grasp on what's real and what's not. I've started to notice some inconsistencies in my dreams.

It seems at this point that this is only an event.

But it'd difficult to tell.

I know... My therapist has very convincing arguments to try and prove me otherwise. But I still think this is an event. [She bites her lips.] It has to be.

And I figured that if our dreams are creations of the Animus, they were bound to make mistakes from one night to another. Did you notice that in your dreams too?

I haven't opportunity to pay attention.

But you have noticed things that are different in yours?

[She frowns a bit at his first answer.]

Yes. Only small details. But there's no logical explanation for those changes.

What are your dreams like? ...I'll tell you about mine, if you tell me about yours.

Did you still wish to speak in person?

[Raven nods slowly.] Yes. That'd probably be best.

Where?

I don't really care as long as we meet now... Would you mind coming over?

[She'd have agreed to come to the Temple. But since he asks her to choose and she doesn't live far from it, she'd rather not have to leave her house.]

I will be there shortly.

[The door opens itself to let him in, revealing Raven standing a bit further down the corridor.]

Hey, Cas.

[She leads him to the main room where she sits down on the sofa. There are a steaming mug and a book set next to her. Another mug and a kettle are set on a nearby table.]

You can help yourself with tea if you want.

[Raven knew he'd probably refuse the tea, maybe that's why she didn't pour it in his mug in the first place. He sometimes drinks it to share it with her but today there's too much on his mind. On both their minds.

She gives him a few moments before she speaks.]

So did someone make an interesting offer? Did you find a way to avoid sleeping?

[Better start with that and allow him to stall just a bit. Then she'll ask about his dreams and maybe it'll be less awkward.]

I made an agreement with Snape.

[She looks a bit surprised. But in fact she finds it almost reassuring. Snape is not someone 'nice' but he was trustworthy. If he had offered a solution to Castiel, it'd be a valuable one. And he would be true to their agreement as long as Castiel would be as well.]

Oh. What are the terms of this agreement, then?

Potions that will negate the need for sleep for the remainder of the event, in exchange for some sort of favor in the future.

I suppose he tested the potions himself, made sure they worked, right?

What about that favor?

He said that they had been working for him, and that if they do not function for me for whatever reason, to speak with him.

I don't know what he would want.

[A nod.] That'll probably work. He's a Potion Master after all. [And you're human now.]

He might not know himself yet. [She pauses before adding with a smirk.] I trust you to keep this for yourself but... I have the same kind of arrangement with Jinx. She owes me one.

Could you tell her to cease causing problems between my brothers?

[A soft chuckle. Oh, Cas...]

You'd want me to waste a perfectly good favor over that?

Besides even if I asked, I doubt she could grant me that. As terrible as it sounds, I'm kinda convinced she can't help it. [She smirks.] Also Lucifer is the one who chose to invite her into his house... He should have known better.

It isn't just about Lucifer.

This is supposed to be confidential, but she is also now with Gabriel, it seems.

Oh. [Raven can tell Castiel is upset. And she can guess why. Jinx cheated on Lucifer. Not one of the smartest things to do, especially not with one of his brothers. But she can't say Gabriel comes as a surprise in this equation.] Well Gabriel has been obsessed with her for quite some time now. So I guess it was bound to happen but I wouldn't say she's the only one at fault there.

[Let's be honest, Gabriel's been chasing after Jinx since she arrived in Adstring. Anyway Castiel's right, Raven won't go speak about this with anyone, not even with Jinx.]

All three of them are acting foolishly.

Indeed. [A pause.] ...Is Lucifer angry with Gabriel? Do you think he'll refuse to work with Gabriel on getting out of here because of that?
