My sister, Anna, has returned home.
[To be imprisoned, go insane, and be killed. She's one of those that, for her, being here was better than being at home.
Two friends in two days; it isn't the worst anyone's dealt with by any means, but it still hurts. And Anna... Anna, one of the few siblings he loved, he would never see again. And she left here hating him.

Somewhere in the recent weeks, somewhere in Lucifer's first apology she looked on the face of selfishness and found it despicable. Here is an angel, mourning the loss of an elder who will never be seen whole and healthy again. Anael was a good solider, and the thought of her disappearance from this unwanted Purgatory doesn't please her any more than the angel's decisions that led to her death.
It would have been better for her to reform at home. That will never happen. She is dead, farther beyond reach than Michael ever was before this terrible place, and there is something strange left behind. In Michael's (hopefully, please if God can still hear her) temporary absence she clings even tighter to those shreds of good behavior, and sees the pointlessness of descending on him now.
It is, after all, what Lucifer would do.
Raphael has beaten Castiel already. So today, just this once, she says nothing. It is better, possibly, for him to be alone with his loathsome human emotions, the better to avoid more rifts in this already fragmented peace.]
